Scheduled Search - Can I output to a custom HTML template in email?

Apologies if this is in the wrong area...   

I have a scheduled search that I created a new HTML Template which I also specified as the "default".

When the search runs and sends the results as a PDF, it is sending what appears to be a generic template but it is not using my HTML version (even though it is marked as the default).  I looked in the Search Email tabs and cannot find anywhere to select my Template to use.

My template does show when manually running the search and selecting Print so I know it is attached.

All help is greatly appreciated.
