Introducing CDNs for Sandbox and Release Preview Web Services and REST Domains
This notice is intended for customers with NetSuite Sandbox and Release Preview accounts that access the webservices.netsuite.com, rest.netsuite.com, or content.netsuite.com domains. Starting on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, these domains will be dynamically routed through content delivery networks, or CDNs. When CDNs are in use in a network, IP address assignment is handled by the CDN providers. IP addresses cannot be guaranteed. IP addresses are subject to change at any time and are not under the control of Oracle NetSuite.
The CDNs will ensure high availability as well as the most optimal routing for calling discovery methods on these domains. However, CDNs do not provide a fixed IP address. We cannot determine whether your company has IP address rules in place for the webservices.netsuite.com or rest.netsuite.com domains. Any IP address-based rules for these domains currently in place in your company firewall will break when the CDNs are introduced.
