Saved Search for Inventory Item record Sublist to display Assembly Item (Component of) information

edited Jan 3, 2020 12:25AM in Search / Reporting

What I am trying to do is create a Saved Search Sublist that lists the Assemblies that an Inventory Item is a Member Of. I'd like to include several fields sourced from the Assembly/Kit Item Record, but I am not finding Join fields to do this.

The scenario:

We buy 24" x 24" sheets of glass (Inventory Items) in about 150 colors, so about 150 Inventory Items. Each Inventory Item is a member of 20 different Assemblies. We basically cut the glass into many different sizes depending on the customer's needs. Due to supply and sales, not all Assemblies can be sold at all times. When certain Assemblies are not available, they may be taken off the site or have the Out of Stock Behavior may be changed to display as out of stock.

Howdy, Stranger!
