Payment Service Directive 2 (PSD2) Regulations Impact to SCA Customers in EU

This notice is intended for SCA Customers in EU with an active SuiteCommerce Advanced or SiteBuilder Extension Premium license - you will be affected by the PSD2 directive.

After PSD2 rolls out on September 14, 2019, all EU merchants with an acquiring bank in EU (or their acquirer has EU license) must meet the requirement of Strong Customer Authentication when processing e-commerce payments greater than 30Euro. This requirement can be satisfied with the existing technology of 3D Secure 1.0, already supported on some SuiteCommerce Advanced or SiteBuilder Extension Premium versions.

If you haven't enabled 3D Secure 1.0 authentication in your website, you must take action to be compliant before September 14, 2019.
