Scheduled Workflow Won't Attach Task to Project Record Using Create Record Function

edited Dec 2, 2019 3:37PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 1 comment

Hoping someone knows the answer to this.

I'm intending to use a scheduled workflow to create Activity Task Records (not Project Tasks) and attach them to active Project Records every Monday.  That way my PM team can write their weekly reports on their assigned jobs/projects.  I've used this functionality successfully before, however not on Project Records.

My issue is I can not get the Task Record to associate itself with the Project Records.  In the Parameters portion of the Create Record Action, I try matching Company field of the Task Record with either of the Value Fields on the Project Record (Company or Parent) and when the workflow executes, the Task Record created does not show up in the activity section of the Project Record.  I've tried also using various {fieldid}'s in the Formula section, also to no avail.

Howdy, Stranger!
