Leadsource - what am I doing wrong.

I want to track orders form a link. The link I am using is:-

http://www.lampspecs.co.uk/Manufacturers-Stores/Philips-Store?leadsource=00078

However if this link is clicked and a customer created and an order placed. Neither the customer nor the order has the lead source set to anything other than "null". What am I doing wrong?
