Search to show Item Group and their Member Components and Back Order Quantities

Having a hard time coming up with a report to show Item Groups along with the member components with qty committed and qty back ordered. Has anyone been able to create something like this? I tried to duplicate something I found in SuiteAnswers (link below) but it wouldn't return accurate data. Any help is appreciated.
