unbuild variance account in assembly unbuild function

Hi, I am using assembly unbuild function. I buy the assembly item using purchase order, then disassemble assembly item to several components. Then the cost difference will go to variance account. How could we deal with variance account? since this account include some COGS (if sell components) and inventory (for components store in warehouse). Thanks a lot.
