Need SO RA link to Inv CM

We are trying to create a return authorization for a conversion order. This RA will be automatically created using NS APIs from Salesforce. The original order will have the multiple billing schedules and we want this RA to cancel those billing schedules and adjust it according to the RA. We are in software business so the original contract is mostly  multi year  and hence we are trying to find how to adjust the original billing schedules. Can someone please suggest how we can do this?
