N/Query - ResultSet.asMappedResults() and Result.asMap() examples?

Hello,

Are there examples of using the new Mapped Results methods for the Query Module?  

I have been struggling to get specific column results out of the Query ResultSet I have built and the none of the SuiteAnswers articles on the Query Module tell you how to get the results out to use.  It's so easy using the search module using Result.getValue(column) but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent for the Query module.
