Reminder: NSPOS - Windows 7 End of Life

This notice is intended for customers using NetSuite Point of Sale (NSPOS).

Microsoft® Windows 7 will reach end of life (EOL) on January 14, 2020. EOL means that Microsoft will no longer provide security updates for the operating system or offer extended support.

What Windows 7 EOL Means to You

The lack of ongoing security updates after EOL can put register workstations running Windows 7 at risk. Possible risks include register downtime or worse.

Actions You Should Take

Verify the operating system installed on every register running NSPOS. If a register is using Windows 7 or earlier, you should upgrade it to Microsoft Windows 10. Act early to ensure you are ready on January 14, 2020. We will send one more reminder.
