Action Required to Become Compliant with New Stored Payment Credentials Mandates
This notice is intended for customers who have not yet enabled the new Payment Instruments feature in your NetSuite account or have not yet migrated to the new Merchant e-Solutions for SuitePayments SuiteApp to charge credit cards from your NetSuite account. For compliance with Stored Credentials mandates from Visa, Mastercard and Discover, you must adopt and use both the Payment Instruments feature and the new SuiteApp.
What is Changing?
All merchants that process Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit or debit cards must comply with these new mandates that serve to identify the initial storage and subsequent use of the payment credentials. The mandates apply to either the card credentials themselves or a gateway token that represents the card.
