New SuiteCommerce InStore Avalara Performance Feature
This notice is intended for customers that use SuiteCommerce InStore (SCIS). SCIS release 2019.2.4 was applied to your environment on January 21, 2020. Included in the release is a new performance feature for use with Avalara AvaTax. This notification describes the feature and how to perform the setup.

SCIS 2019.2.4 includes a performance feature called Disable Tax Calculation at Line Level. It uses a new field available in the latest version of Avalara AvaTax to control when Avalara calculates taxes for SCIS. Rather than running calculations each time a sales associate adds an item to the cart, the feature puts tax calculations on hold until all cart entries are complete. |
