Action Required for Payment Processing Profiles Accounting Preference

This notice applies to accounts using an obsolete preference which is being discontinued.

What is Changing?

If you do not enable the Use strict rules for the selection of Payment Processing Profiles accounting preference before upgrading to the NetSuite 2020.2 release, the preference will be automatically enabled on your account. Then, any incorrectly configured Payment Processing Profiles will no longer be offered in contexts for which they are not configured. Consequently, you will not be able to accept payments in such contexts.

Previously, the system tried to select Payment Processing Profiles even when there were no profiles configured for the given context.
