Serial number

Hii

How can i set serial numbers, when i have attribute at item master level as Dynamic entry at inventory receipt. Requirement is to have serial number generated while receiving that item in that particular organisation. Say for eg) a item from manufacturer having a manufacturing number, the business uses the same number as serial number in the system, that serial number should appear when the item is received and transferred to stores.
