Upgrade Notice: India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp Version (2.00.0)

This notice is to inform you about the release date and the enhancements that will be included in the upgrade of the India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp to version 2.00.0.

Target Release Date

June 23, 2020 – Release to all production accounts.

  • Bundle Name: India Localization SuiteTax Engine
  • Bundle ID: 253246

You can now configure the tax rate rules to calculate GST Compensation Cess based on the following:

    • Percentage
    • Quantity
    • Percentage + Quantity
    • Percentage or Quantity (whichever is higher)

When entering assembly items in a transaction record, the SuiteApp now automatically selects the default India HSN or SAC Code associated with the item.

  • Enhancements to Tax Deduction at Source (TDS)
