Changes to Customer Registration on Password Protected Sites
This notice is intended for customers who use the Password Protect Entire Site functionality for one or more websites.What Is Changing?
With the NetSuite 2020.2 release, visitors to a password protected website will be permitted to register on the website if the type of customer registration is set to "required". These registered customers will then be able to access the website.
Recommended Actions
To prevent visitors from registering on your website, perform the following prior to the 2020.2 upgrade:
- Go to Setup > SuiteCommerce Advanced/ Site Builder > Set Up Web Site.
- Click Edit next to the website you want to check.
