How to use nested CASE formula function
Hi Workbook users. Many users are asking how to use more complex conditions in Formula fields so I have decided to put it here. To use multi-level decision logic in Formula fields use "nested" CASE function. The CASE can be altered within another CASE function and it allows you to compare and create more complex conditions (similar to "IF/ELSE IF" syntax from programming languages).
Let's take following example:
1) Create new dataset on Customer record
2) Make sure you have these fields added to the table: "Entity ID", "Status", "Stage", "Lead Source", "Transaction"
3) Create new formula field, which will evaluate lead source and status of customer's transactions and provide various text outputs as a result of this formula:
