Can you remove viewing Time-Off Requests and Balances in Days from the Time-Off Portlet?

Is there a way to turn off or hide reporting Time-Off Requests is Hours instead of Days? Our client does not want the end users to be able to toggle back and forth between Hours and Days in the Employee Center when displaying their Time-Off Balances in the Time-Off Portal and Time-Off Summary. The days are displaying differently due to a difference of hours in the Work Calendar.
