NSC | FAM > Possible Causes Why The Asset/s Did Not Depreciate
Here are some of the reasons why Assets did not depreciate.
- The Subsidiary set on the Asset Record may be set to Inactive.
To resolve this, set the Subsidiary Record to Active.
- Set Up > Company > Subsidiaries
- Click Edit on the Subsidiary Record
- Remove the tick mark on Subsidiary is Inactive
- Click Save
Values on the Asset Record may have been edited but the Reset Asset Values was not triggered
- Edit the Asset Record and update all the necessary fields
- On the General Tab, set the Depreciation Active field to False
- Click on Save
- Navigate to Fixed Assets > Setup > System Setup
