NSC | Create records and transactions for a particular subsidiary only using an Administrator Role
Scenario:
An employee is assigned a task to create multiple exclusive records and transactions for a particular child subsidiary. However, when creating records, the employee have difficulties in selecting the subsidiaries as all the subsidiaries are present in creating records.
Solution:
Currently, when creating records such as Customers, Vendors, department records using Administrator role, users will see all the subsidiaries in the Subsidiary dropdown field. Administrators can create a role with access to these record with a limitation to a particular subsidiary or can limit the subsidiary when they log in to NetSuite if the task is only temporary by following the steps below:
