NSC | Create a Custom Field That Will Display the Week Number of a Date
There is a requirement to create a Custom Field that will display the Week Number of a Date. In a sample scenario, users wanted to create a Custom Field that will show the Week Number of the value in the Transaction Date Field. To do this, we need to use Formulas to be applied in Custom Field.
Kindly follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Body Fields > New
- Label: Enter Label
- Type: Select Free-Form Text
- Store Value: Remove Checkmark
- Under Applies To, select the preferred record types
- Click Validation & Defaulting
- Formula: Enter TO_CHAR({trandate},'IW')
