NSC | Source Location(Main) To Location(Line) Using Workflows
There is a requirement to auto-populate the Location column present in the Item Sublist by sourcing the value of the Location Field in the Main Line of the record. To do this, we need to create a Workflow that will use the Set Field Value Workflow Action to set the value of the Location column. Kindly follow the steps below:
- Create a Workflow by navigating to Customization > Workflow > Workflows > New
- Name: Enter the Name of the Workflow
- Record Type: Select Transaction
- Sub Types: Select Sales Order
- Execute as Admin: Enter checkmark
- Initiation:
- Select Events Based
- Event Definition:
- Select On Create
