Action Required: Upgrade to SHA256 for Payment Gateway Plug-in Bundle for AsiaPay Direct and AsiaPay

This notice applies to you if you are using the Payment Gateway Plug-in bundle that uses the SHA1 secure hash algorithm for AsiaPay Direct or AsiaPay External Checkout payment gateway.

Due to security vulnerabilities of SHA1, you must upgrade to SHA256, which has improved security features.

What is Changing?

Currently, your secure hash algorithm is set to SHA1. Starting on July 19, 2022, you will have three months to upgrade manually from SHA1 to SHA256. Within this three-month period, both the SHA1 and SHA256 hash algorithms will be supported by NetSuite. Three months after July 19, support for SHA1 will end.

Important: Your payment profiles that use SHA1 secure hash algorithm will not work after three months.
