Required Action: Update Custom Record Permissions for Custom Roles with access to Work Order and MF

This notice is intended for customers who have installed the NetSuite Manufacturing Mobile Suite App. If you use Manufacturing Mobile custom roles, you must manually update setup permissions for existing custom roles to use Manufacturing Mobile and to Access Work Orders.

What is Changing

NetSuite Manufacturing Mobile version 2022.2 will include changes to setup permissions, which affect your existing custom roles. The Custom Lists, Manage Accounting Periods setup permissions and Mfg Mobile – Preferences record permissions are required for both Manufacturing Mobile and Work Order custom roles. This includes existing custom roles.

Recommended Actions

You must manually update the setup permissions for all existing custom roles who have access to Work Orders and Manufacturing Mobile. If you do not update the permissions, an error will appear when you create a work order or access Manufacturing Mobile with your existing roles.
