Why can't I update sales tax on invoice?

Hi all,

I looked through SuiteAnswers and the forum and couldn't find an answer to this. For some reason we are not able to update sales taxes on invoices if the tax amount is zero on the sales order. The tax rate field is available but when we try to set it to the correct one the tax amount stays as zero. We tried with the standard form and it was the same behavior.
