Why does Fedex show up as Item on Sales Order Report?

Hi,

seeing if anyone has had this issue or knows how to resolve it. when i changed the default shipping method to Fedex all the reports we use for the sales orders created after that it shows Fedex as a line item on the saved search or report. on the sales order itself its not listed as an item.

i have check the shipping items to ensure they were setup the same way. any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
