How to Create sales order from opportunity via workflow
We are currently using HubSpot as our CRM. We have automation setup in HubSpot to automatically sync deals to NetSuite as opportunities when the deal is moved to a closed-won stage.
With the configurations we have setup in NetSuite and HubSpot, syncing the deal from HubSpot straight into a sales order in NetSuite is just not possible. We have to use the intermediate step of creating an opportunity in NetSuite. The opportunity, though, is basically just a place holder. Once the deal in HubSpot is moved to closed-won, the customer is ready to purchase.
We would like to automatically create a sales order in NetSuite from the synced opportunity. It looks like we should be able to do this via workflow using the transform record action. All of our attempts so far have failed. A sales order is never created when the opportunity status is changed to closed-won. It looks like we have all of the criteria we need setup correctly in the workflow, but we must be missing a piece.
