Country Name Change: Macedonia to North Macedonia
This notice is intended for customers who use the country name for Macedonia in NetSuite records.
What is Changing?
As of NetSuite 2023.2, the default ISO short name for the Republic of North Macedonia in the Setup > Company > Countries menu will be North Macedonia. This name change will be available after your NetSuite account is upgraded to 2023.2. After the upgrade, the new name of North Macedonia will be reflected in any existing records, transactions, tax reports, and subsidiaries in your account, with one exception. Text type fields representing the country of Macedonia in your account, such as address fields, will require manual changes.
