NSC | How to customize Transaction Detail Report to show to a specific transaction type?

edited Mar 20, 2026 11:44PM in Accounting / ERP

Scenario:

The Transaction detail report lists all transactions in a specific time period. This can be helpful in listing transactions for reporting. Users may sometimes need to generate a list of transactions in a given period. Here's how you can filter a particular type of transaction in the report:

Solution:

1.) Navigate to Reports > Financial > Transaction Detail

2.) Click Customize

3.) Go to Filters section

4.) Add Fields: Transactions folder > Select Transaction Type

Then select an type

5.) Click Show in Filter Section

6.) Rename and Save your report

Result:

In the filter section, you should be able to view the filter transaction type and can also specify it in the filter section.
