NSC | Create New Revision button missing in some BOM records
Normally, there is a Create New Revision button under the Revisions tab of the Bill of Materials record. However, a user noticed that in some records, this button is missing.
First thing to check is if the Allow Editing of Legacy BOMs feature enabled in your account.
To check this feature, navigate to Setup > Manufacturing > Manufacturing Preferences. In the Product Definition section, verify if the Allow Editing of Legacy BOMs box is checked
If it is checked, then the reason why the Create Revision is no longer visible on the Bill of Materials record is that this is already a Legacy BOM for an assembly.
