NSC | Add Serialized/Lot Numbered Items as Kit/Package Components/Members
Scenario
A user wants to add Serialized/Lot Numbered Items as components/members of Kit/Package Items.
Solution
To do so, make sure that the following features are enabled on the account:
Under Transaction Tab:
- Advanced Shipping
- Advanced Receiving
Under Items & Inventory Tab:
- Advanced Bin/Numbered Inventory Management
After the features are enabled, you can either create a new Kit/Package item or edit an existing one then go to the Purchasing/Inventory tab > Components/Members and select the serial/lot numbered items you want to add as members.
