NSC | Having Trouble Receiving Outsourced Manufacturing Purchase Order
Scenario: There are instances wherein users cannot enable the Outsourced Manufacturing feature or an unexpected error is being encountered when receiving Outsourced Manufacturing Purchase Order.
Solution: Setting Up Outsourced Manufacturing is documented in SuiteAnswers ID 91238. However, on instances when users cannot enable the feature or encounter an unexpected error while receiving Outsourced Manufacturing Purchase Order, below are the features and preferences that users should check.
To enable the feature, check if the following prerequisite features are enabled:
- Purchase Orders - Transactions subtab, Basic Features section
- Advanced Receiving - Transactions subtab, Shipping & Receiving section
- Multi-Location Inventory - Items & Inventory subtab, Inventory section
