NSC | How to Show UPC Code in Item and Transaction Saved Searches

Scenario: There are instances wherein users need to add UPC Codes in either transaction or item Saved Searches, however, the field is not available.

Solution: To solve this, users must make sure that the Bar Coding and Item Label feature is enabled. Enabling the feature will expose the missing UPC Code field. This is discussed also in SuiteAnswers ID 105691 - Expose UPC Code Field in the Item Record.

When the Bar Coding and Item Labels is enabled, the UPC Code field will be available in your Item Record and will also be available in Saved Searches.

For Item Saved Search, you should be able to see UPC Code like below:
