SuitePeople U.S. Payroll: New York Withholding Tax Filing Status Schedule Change

This notice applies to customers who are using SuitePeople U.S. Payroll and you withhold New York, New York City, or Yonkers tax.

What is Changing?

On July 12, 2023, it was communicated that Oracle NetSuite will have new Filing Status field values for New York withholding tax available on July 21, 2023. The schedule has been changed to August 2, 2023. Starting August 2, 2023, the following new Filing Status field values for New York withholding tax will be available:

  • Single or Head of Household
  • Married
  • Married, but withhold at higher Single rate

The new values will replace the current Filing Status values, which will remain until August 1, 2023 only.
