Work Order Auto-Calculated Lead Time change
This notice applies to NetSuite accounts configured to automatically calculate work order lead time based on the length of the run time and setup time defined in manufacturing routings.
What is Changing?
The following two changes are being implemented with the release of NetSuite 2024.1:
- When a calendar is assigned to the location where the work order lead time is automatically calculated, the non-working days are not included in the lead time calculation. This is because non-working days are only counted at the Material Requirements Plan (MRP) and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) level, which works with defined lot sizes and calendar dates.
