Security Notice: Exclude Confidential Information in Script Parameters
As part of our standard security assurance monitoring, it has been found that some NetSuite accounts are not following the recommended ways to properly store secrets.
NetSuite documents how to properly store secrets (Secrets Management), and we provide guidance on recommended security practices (Creating Script Parameters Overview and Improve Security by Removing Confidential Information from Script Parameters).
As a NetSuite customer, you play an important role in the security of the NetSuite ecosystem. We are reaching out today to ask you to address this issue in any of your NetSuite accounts and ensure they are appropriately configured.
