Action required: Check your Cybersource P12 key expiration date

This notice is intended for customers who are using the legacy built-in Cybersource payment gateway integration.

What is Changing?

On February 1, 2024, the Cybersource security environment will be enhanced.

All P12 keys issued by Cybersource created after February 1, 2024, will be secured with a password that you set during key generation within the Cybersource Business Center.

Important:

  • This password will not be stored within Cybersource systems. You must securely store this password because you will need it to open the key file and for use with your API implementation.
  • The legacy Cybersource gateway integration will not work with the newly generated and password-protected P12 keys. You cannot enter the P12 key's password within the legacy Cybersource integration.
