Action Required: Update Custom Record Permissions for Custom Roles

This notice is intended for customers who have the SMT Core Content Types bundle installed in your NetSuite account.

What is Changing?

On March 6, 2024, version 1.0.6 of the SMT Core Content Types managed bundle (ID 190323) was released. This release affects how custom record permissions behave with:

  • any custom employee roles you have set up in your account that are used to log in to Site Management Tools (SMT).
  • any custom customer roles you have set up in your account that are used to browse and shop your webstore.

Required Actions

You need to change the permission access levels for the following custom records:
