NSC | Track Changes in Shipping Cost Field in System Notes

Scenario

User needs to check the changes in value of the Shipping Cost for a Sales Order, Invoice, Item Fulfillment, however, the field does not get pulled up by the System Notes.

Solution

Unfortunately, changes in the native Shipping Cost field is not logged in the System Notes. This system limitation is tracked as:

  • Enhancement # 183000: To be able to track changes in the Shipping Cost field in the transaction records via the system notes.

As a possible workaround, users can create a custom transaction field that sources from the Shipping Cost. This would allow changes to appear in the System Notes.
