NSC | Subsidiaries Missing from Journal Entry Subsidiary Dropdown
Scenario:
When creating a journal entry, the user notices that two subsidiaries are missing from their dropdown list. However, these subsidiaries are visible to the user in reports such as the Income Statement.
All other employees with the same role can view all subsidiaries without any issue.
Solution:
Check the User's Preferences to see if the subsidiary field is set. If it is, remove the currently set subsidiary from the field and then set it again.
1. Navigate to Home > Set Preferences
2. Click Restrict View
3. Subsidiary: Unset the field
4. Click Save
5. Navigate back to Home > Set Preferences
6. In Restrict View, set the subsidiary back
