NSC | Password Expiration Notice Encountered by Users Who Use SAML SSO

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:45PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

Users might still encounter password expiration notices in NetSuite despite using SAML SSO for several reasons:

  1. Mixed Authentication Methods: Users who has roles that log in directly to NetSuite instead of through the SAML SSO portal and do not have SAML SSO Permissions. This includes standard NetSuite roles, and custom roles without the permissions.

To resolve this, roles must either be removed from the user’s access or converted into SSO Roles by adding Single Sign-On permission.
  2. SAML SSO Only Checkbox is not ticked. This can also be found in the role settings. Make sure to check this for SAML SSO Roles.

Howdy, Stranger!
