Announcing NSPOS 2024.1

We are pleased to announce NetSuite Point of Sale (NSPOS) 2024.1.X. This release includes a new self-serve kiosk setup and NSPOS integration with the NetSuite SuiteTax integration feature. We also added compatibility with Payment Instruments, the ability for employees to change their password, and more.

Self-checkout Kiosk

This release provides a self-serve kiosk feature. When an NSPOS workstation is provisioned as a kiosk, it empowers your shoppers to make purchases without the need for a cashier to handle each step. Shoppers can scan their items or “key in code” to manually enter an item’s bar code number.

Assistance mode provides a kiosk attendant with access to “find an item,” remove an item or adjust item quantities, and void a transaction when necessary.
