NetSuite - Changes in SuiteCommerce Configuration Record Permissions Level

This notice applies to customers with customization enabled in your account and you use custom record type provided by SuiteCommerce Configuration bundle with an access level higher than (View) for External Roles Access or Unauthenticated Users Access.

What is Changing?

Currently the SuiteCommerce Configuration has set access type No Permission Required for Internal Roles, with its two additional dropdown list fields set to:

  • External Roles Access (Full)
  • Unauthenticated Users Access (Full)
  • Record locked on installation

An upcoming release of the SuiteCommerce Configuration bundle (August 27th, 2024), will set the permissions to:

  • External Roles Access (View)
  • Unauthenticated Users Access (View)
  • Record unlocked on installation (temporary for approximately 2 months from August 27th, 2024)
