Urgent Action: Review File Cabinet Permissions for Users with the Customer Center Role
This notice applies to customers with the File Cabinet feature activated in your NetSuite account, and you share files with users with the Customer Center role.
This is the final reminder before stricter access to files for users with the Customer Center role is enforced.
What is Changing?
Previously, users with the Customer Center role could access files in the File Cabinet using a URL provided by an Administrator or NetSuite Support.
After August 31, 2024, stricter access to files for users with the Customer Center role will be enforced according to permissions set on your files.
Required Actions
Before August 31, 2024, you must review permissions on your File Cabinet files. To determine which files you need to update, refer to the report generated by NetSuite and stored in your File Cabinet. The report shows IDs of potentially impacted files or folders, along with file paths and information about how often users with the Customer Center role access the files.
Regards,
@Robert Nedelkow-Oracle | NetSuite Support Community Administrator
