Creating a check - Error "This record already exists"

I am receiving an error of "This record already exists" on a few of my line items when trying to upload a batch of checks through the Saved CSV import. I have done multiple checks for a single customer for over a year in a half with the same template. Has something changed? Or does anyone know if there is a setting to allow multiple checks for the same customer/vendor?
