NSC | Represents Subsidiary Field Greyed Out or disabled for a Recently Created Customer
A user recently created a Customer record in NetSuite, assigning it to a single subsidiary. Later, they realize the customer should be an Intercompany customer instead. However, when they try to edit the record, the Represents Subsidiary field is greyed out, preventing changes. Now, they need to find the right way to set up the customer for intercompany transactions.
Check if the field is disabled and change the display type to normal:
1.) Customize the Customer form
2.) Go to Screen Fields tab > Main subtab
3.) Make sure that it is set to Normal
4.) Then Save the form
Check if there are transactions related to the Customer:
