Upcoming Change: Restriction Evaluation for Custom Records for Channels Using Analytics Data Source

This notice is to inform you of an upcoming change of behavior in Analytics Data Source for custom records.

In NetSuite 2024.2, restrictions can be configured for custom record types using standard segments (subsidiary, department, location, and class). If a custom record type has restrictions that are configured using a custom field of type Multiple Select using a standard segment, and has the Apply role restriction box checked, access is evaluated as described in the following table.

Entry of the custom record type is accessible through Analytics Data Source, Suite QL, ODBC 2.0, and REST if one of the following conditions is met:
