Action Required: Configuration Changes for Custom Records

This notice applies to customers who have an old version of SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) or SiteBuilder Extensions (SBE) installed in your account. If you are actively using the following implementations, changes to the behavior of custom records can affect the functionality of your website:

  • SCA, SBE, or SBE Premium – Vinson, Mont Blanc, or Denali
  • SCA Reference My Account – 1.02 to 1.06
  • SCA Reference ShopFlow – 1.02 to 1.07

This change will be enabled for your account on March 11, 2025.

What is changing?

Starting March 11, 2025, the behavior for how a custom record is checked for its existence will be updated. After this update, instead of performing a create record (CreateRecord) to check for the existence of a custom record, a search (lookupfield) will be performed. This change improves performance and ensures that your web store continues to function as expected. To avoid loss of website functionality, you must complete the following required actions.
