NSC | WRM - Warranty Record Not Automatically Created
Scenario:
A warranty record was not automatically created after creating the invoice record.
Solution:
User should verify if any of the possible reasons below is the cause of the issue:
1. The Automatically Register Warranty on Invoice preference is not enabled. This preference automatically checks the Register Warranty box on the invoice, for items where warranty tracking is enabled. Regardless of how the invoice is created or generated, the preference is automatically enabled for the warranty item.
2. Warranty tracking is not enabled on the item record.
3. Item is not inventory and assembly items. Warranty registration is available only for inventory and assembly items.
